TidyDo
You can delete your TidyDo account yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone. It takes about fifteen seconds and does not wait on us.
Email support@tidydo.app from the address you signed up with, asking for your account to be deleted. We will confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days — usually far sooner. We will only ever act on a request sent from the registered address, because anyone able to delete someone else's account by asking would be a worse problem than the one this page solves.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account and sign-in | Deleted |
| Your name, profile photo and avatar | Deleted |
| Push notification tokens | Deleted |
| Cameras you paired, and the credentials behind them | Deleted |
| Your household's rooms, photos, scans and task lists | Deleted if you are the last member — see below |
| Records of purchases | Retained in anonymised form where required for tax and accounting |
If other people are still in your household, deleting your account removes you, your profile, and the cameras you personally paired — but it leaves the household, its rooms and its photos for the people still using it. That is deliberate: your leaving should not delete a family's shared history.
If you are the household's only parent and others remain, the app will ask you to hand the household to someone else first (Family → tap a member → make them a parent). If you are the last member, the household and everything in it goes with you.
If you only want the photographs gone, a parent can tap Delete all images in the same settings screen. That removes every room photo and scan photo for the household, including baselines, and keeps the account and the family intact.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — Google manages that, not us. Cancel it at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions before or after deleting, or it will keep renewing.
